The Christ Hospital is a long-standing maternity care unit of over 125 years. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Christ is designed to care for babies born around the 23rd week of gestation or later. In addition, their expertise lies with moms who have had a previous premature birth and for moms who are expecting twins, triplets, and multiples. This NICU was designed by physicians and nurses to care for newborns with greater needs in an efficient and supportive environment. Extra attention was also focused on parents to have greater comfort and privacy.
The Christ Hospital Maternity Ward provides private comfortable and secure labor and delivery rooms, as well as mom/baby recovery rooms. They offer seven-day-a-week lactation services, a lactation boutique, 24-hour neonatologist coverage, and breast-feeding support.
